Introduction.

Psyllium husk is an accurate dietary fiber, it is a High fiber-rich food supplement, consumes daily dietary fiber its plays a very important role in the human body. psyllium husk included both fibers. It has 70% soluble fiber and 30% insoluble fiber. Both dietary fibers play important for the human body, fiber-rich food relief from chronic constipation, and most beneficial for the digestive system, intestine-related problems, heart problem and helpful for anal-related problems like fissure, piles, decreases heart-related problems, type 2 debates, weight loss, and many more.

The psyllium husk is got from a plant called “Plantago ovata”, a psyllium husk rich source of soluble or insoluble fiber. The human body can’t digest insoluble fiber. That the reason fiber passes to the direct stomach, and then the intestine, without digest. Actually, dietary fiber is a nutritional supplement, not a medicine, but this plays a very important role in our body.

TYPES OF DIETARY FIBER.

Just two type of dietary fiber

  1. Soluble:- which is dissolved in liquid like water and milk etc. and makes liquid bulky.
  2. insoluble:- which is not dissolve in water and milk etc. no effect on the liquid. That type of fiber available in the skin of fruits and seeds.

why Psyllium.

Psyllium has 70% soluble fiber so it dissolves easily in water or milk and the remaining 30% Insoluble fiber passed with soluble fiber, it has no test and no smell. after dissolve, it became bulky so it's easy to eat. The human body easily absorbs psyllium fiber rather than other fiber-rich food or sources. one study has shown soluble fiber (psyllium has 70% soluble fiber) reduces constipation, human body weight, sugar level, and cholesterol.

Dosage.

as per the doctor's advice, we take 2–3 teaspoon psyllium with warm or cold water, twice a day. after lunch 1 hour later. 1 teaspoon equal to approx 5 gm. depends on the size of the spoon.
